“3 Things” Every Amazing Network Marketer Does – Daily!

network-marketer-dailyWelcome everybody. Today’s post is about a subject that eludes most people in business let alone those of us in the network marketing industry.

I’ll come right out and say that it revolves are the subject of due diligence and staying consistent. BUT…most people really confuse the subject of staying consistent with doing all types of meaningless work day-in-day-out.

Over my many years in business I have come to realize that there are 3 Things that separate amazing business people, from wannabees or amateurs. And it’s NOT talent. Or even hard work.

Oh…and just one thing before we get into the meat and potatoes. If you feel like someone might benefit from this stuff; then feel to share on twitter.

Ok – so here goes. Here are the 3 Things.

Thing #1: Amazing Networkers Make a To Do List

Alright….so you probably didn’t fall out of your seat for that one but it baffles me how many people get this wrong.

Cramming your blackberry calendar with everything you can think of will get you NOWHERE. And trying to “keep it in your head” is even worse.

So here’s what I do. Every night before I go to bed a make a list of just 5 things (no more) that I HAVE to get done before I go to bed the next day. I put them down in order of importance, and as soon as I wake up I go at it!

My to do list might look something like this:

1. Submit new content to Current Market Culture blog
2. Talk to 10 new prospects
3. Send out a press release
4. Attend Internet Marketing Seminar
5. Read new issue of INC Magazine

If you do this every night before you go to bed, you subconsciously set yourself up for success because you already know what to do when you wake up regardless of any distractions.

Thing #2: Amazing Networkers Work On 1 Thing At A Time

I DO NOT BELIEVE IN MULTITASKING…

This one is as crucial as Thing #1. Doing one thing at a time.

Talking on the phone; while you’re sending emails; and putting together a report; and booking a plane ticket; will result in a poor job in all of those areas. You might get the job done – but poorly.

Have you ever talked on the phone with someone who your knew was doing something else at the same time? – like eating, watching TV, or sending an email. The conversation probably wasn’t all the great was it?

I won’t go on about this one, but the point here is to focus, focus, focus….

Thing #3: Amazing Networkers Keep Their Word

This is a tough one for most all people. And most people overlook how much this one can damage your credibility.

Keeping your word means keeping your promises to the people around you; and keeping your promises to yourself.

If you tell someone you will call them back in 3 days…..then call them back in 3 days!!! Each day that you go through life and through business people will constantly test how much they can trust you.

The proper way to build a relationship is to build trust. And trust can be built through very simple things like returning a phone call or email on time.

So that’s it!

Do these three things every single day and watch yourself grow into a networking superstar! But won’t happen overnight – and that’s why you have to keep at it.

You have to understand that there is no magic button to push, no creative marketing system to generate you leads, or secret script that will make your a superstar.

It all comes with being consistent – day in; day out.

So…I challenge you to practice these 3 Things everyday for the next 30 days. And remember, championships are not won on game day – they’re won during practice….after practice…after practice…
