My Top 5 Network Marketing Strategies

Today I’m going to share my top 5 network marketing strategies with you.

Recently, I was in a discussion with some friends about what the best network marketing strategies were. And as you can probably guess, that discussion quickly turned into a debate. And the debate into an argument… I guess we’re all just human aren’t we?

Anyway, two of my pals kept going back and forth about what marketing strategies worked the best; which ones were outdated; and which strategies simply made them sick to their stomachs.

All of this got me thinking – what are my favorite network marketing strategies?

When I first got started in this industry I began with all the traditional stuff like making my list of 200 friends (who has that many friends anyway???). And if you’re anything like me, you probably struggled with which method of marketing to focus on first. Some people say online marketing is the way to go. Other say traditional methods like calling family and friends is the best. So what are your favorite strategies to market your business?

Here’s a list of 5 I came up with….

5. Cold Calling. Believe it or not, I actually like to call cold. I think there’s an art to it. And if done right, you can really build some great relationships with the people you meet. You just need to know who you’re talking to and exactly what you want to get out of the call before picking up the phone.

4. Video Marketing. I think this may be the huge wave of the future. It’s no secret that people like things that are visual – especially live footage. I like using sites like YouTube to get the word out. Usually, I use Camtasia to record tutorials and post them on various sites for people to learn from. But I still have lots to learn here – and I’m excited about it.

3. Lead Generation Systems. It really doesn’t get much better than the Magnetic Sponsoring system for me. 2. Blogging. Yes, you should have guessed by now that I love to b-l-o-g. It really let’s me get things off my chest and share some value with fellow networkers like you!

1. Good Old-Fashioned Networking. That’s right… it’s as simple as that. Meeting people and networking is the lifeblood of our business. And there’s nothing like shaking someones hand and just saying hello. This can be done through networking events, conferences, parties, or just taking a trip down to the bank to cash your residual cheque :)

So…. that’s my list. Plain and simple. And really, it could change at anytime because a lot like you, I’m out constantly reading and trying new things.

But It’s always good to make lists like this every once in a while. And I just may revisit this list sometime soon to see what’s changed. How’s your top 5 list coming along?
